WWE has a history of ruining well built up angles but this one is by far the worst. The Greater Power (also known as Higher Power) story was a massive one that spanned five months and utilized the biggest names in the company. It had good, if not bizarre, character development and was pretty intriguing at least. But in five seconds they threw it completely down the drain with the worst reveal in wrestling history.

We also have to celebrate the 20th anniversary of our show's Patron Saint David Arquette winning the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. On April 26th, 2000, he pinned Eric Bischoff to become the first actor to hold the gold. He went on a memorable two week run culminating in a heel turn at Slamboree in a triple cage match with DDP and Jeff Jarrett.

This was a brutal week for many WWE wrestlers as a spree of releases torn through the company.

For the show this week we go back to 2004-5 when a new character debuted. Muhammad Hassan was portrayed initially as an Arab-American who had turned on America due to racist oppression in the wake of 9/11. It was actually a pretty well done heel character both from a writing perspective and from Hassan. He started to rise in the ranks and was being positioned for a massive push when it all came crashing down due to an awful segment at the worst time.

It started with a crooked referee Scott Dickinson helping Jericho win on several occasions. This lead to a match at Souled Out where if Saturn lost he had to wear a dress. It would escalate to Saturn becoming a cross-dressing Gothic transvestite looking character and a dog collar match. You don't want to miss this one!

People like to crap on 2000s WCW but the early to mid 90s might have been worse. Uncensored 1995 was a PPV that was advertised as Unsanctioned, Unauthorized, Unbelievable. In other words it was going to be so violent and crazy that WCW themselves would not sanction any match so there would be no rules. It proceeded to feature special stipulations (aka rules) in every match but two, have a match that was literally censored, and have a main event that was sanctioned. Also the main event featured Hogan beating a man who wasn't even his opponent to win. It's absolutely insane. Also we talk this week in wrestling, Mark went to a local show with an unsafe cage match and the festival where the premier of David Arquette's wrestling documentary You Cannot Kill David Arquette was cancelled.

There were so many insane things that took place that year and Harris has made a list of 10 we go over to explain just how nuts it was. From Vince trying to turn it into a wrestling promotion to inappropriate cheerleaders to unnecessary injuries and to He Hate Me it never ceased to be, well, insane.

The XFL has released official theme songs for every team and we go through them and see if they are any good.

Bowling For Soup, the amazing pop-punk band has released "Alexa Bliss" which is an incredible song all about our favorite goddess.

For the main show we are talking about something that was a pretty awful and offensive angle WWE did. Back in 2005 Chavo Guerrero decided to denounce his Mexican heritage and become "white middle-class." Needless to say it was...well...interesting.

There is so much to unpack this week. First we talk recent news in wrestling including AEW Dynamite, NWA Powerrr and R-Truth's amazing promo with Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman on RAW.

Then for the topic we dissect three of the stupidest matches WCW has ever had. The first was a good idea and had good participants with Kidman and Dean Malenko in a Catch-As-Catch-Can Match. But didn't turn out right after a big mistake.

Then we go to the Junkyard Hardcore Invitational where 15 wrestlers battled in a random parking lot with junked cars. It's impossible to follow and boring.

Finally we go to the best one with Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair in a Yapapi Indian Strap Match. Hogan gives us two of the greatest promos in history and then the match doesn't even follow it's own rules!

WWE went through a phase in 2003 where they ramped up the "soap opera" aspect of the show. This angle might be the peak of it but it also has some surprisingly good elements. Vince is full evil heel and Stephanie is an over babyface and the program they have together is truly emotional and well played by both. The match, from No Mercy 2003, is ridiculous and perfect for this show! Also we start a new current events segment where we keep it short and sweet.

Michaels turned heel and did a great job hyping what was supposed to be a three match series starting at SummerSlam. Hogan had other ideas and instead everything was thrown out to have Hogan win a classic Hogan match and that be it. Shawn was none too happy and the result is the best selling in any match in wrestling history!

In August of 1996 WCW started it's rise to become the biggest wrestling company in the world. The nWo had just started and everything was hot. But Eric Bischoff decided it would be a good idea to go into the middle of nowhere in Sturgis, South Dakota and host a PPV at the world's biggest motercycle rally in a parking lot for free admission. The quality of life was terrible for the wrestlers, most were unhappy and the work rate suffered. So naturally they went back three more times. Also our weekly update on our Patron Saint David Arquette.
