Today we Carry On...Cabby, as Jon joins Darren to talk about the merits of glamorous cab drivers taking the business from male drivers. And how this impacts the marriage of Charlie and Peggy Hawkins, and the shenanigans of chaotic (possibly drunk) driver Pintpot.

We also talk about series regualr Liz Fraser, fired after this film, and re-employed a decade later in the series, one of the longer lived cast members.

Today we Carry On...Cruising, as Eric joins Darren aboard the SS Happy Wanderer, as the captain (Sid James) meets his new crew and we meet the passengers looking for love (cruising in a different sense). The barman, doctor, XO, cook and Tom Tree try to make the right impression.

Today we Carry On...Constable. The japes abound as the new cops bumble around causing chaos, under the watchful eye of newcomer Sidney James. Darren talks to Niall about how all cops are bounders, but these ones seem incompetent in the third highest grossing film at the UK box office in 1960.

There is hilarity on the ward as the series finally becomes a series, the success of the first film meant the second was rushed into production based on a play, and the regulars return, spending their time on a ward with various characters. Bob Monkhouse is called up for national serivce and while in the barracks he meets the wacky characters, including regulars Kenneth Connor, Kenneth Williams and Charles Hawtrey.

In 2025 we are going to rewatch and discuss every episode of Carry On..., the British comedy series that began in 1958 and were all directed by Gerald Thomas, written by Norman Hudis then Talbot Rothwell. They were know for starring Kenneth Williams and Sid James. In many years they were the highest grossing film at the British cinema.
