Season 1 #1 – Bloma - A Whore-i-gin Story

The inaugural episode proves that the more things change, the more they stay the same. Elvis Presley gets the WWTP treatment. The first number, the numeral, the glyph gets its day in the one. The fellas discuss Hydrogen and Flogisten. Matt suggests that Blake, Roma and Mamet are number ones. The boys have some fun with some GGGR themed portmanteau. Matt wants an app for baseball scoring. The fellas are still talking talk about hoops. John Amos gets cast and apparently put the fear of god in a in a young Bill. GGRACE spits out the first minute after a lengthy PDB and the fellas are very excited. Davey Moss is on the lam and calls his sister. Li'l Moss comes with some li'l gripes. The boys recognize that Davie Moss does his best work at 10PM or 8AM. Matt tells everyone which bottle is best to pee into when driving a car. Davie Moss is running hot, and running scared. Bill gets an old-man cramp while seated, and podcasting.

Matt tells us the origin of the cat’s hatred of water. Helium raises us up and gets discussed. Cryogenics are for freezing Walt Disney, right? Hey Dorito, stay out of my taste combo. Pitchers and catchers report early to the podcast. Bill’s bathroom habits are once again brought to the fore. Matt wonders if Dolph Schayes full name is Adolph? Two guys say “Canaan” for way too long. Baylen is on a manhunt. Bill takes the day of the week to task, because thats what HE does. Old guys talking about old technology, should really be a segment on this podcast. Baylen took the week to compile a Dave “Moss”-ier. Baylen nearly orgasms at the sight of an Arby’s. Matt asks bill which jingle he’d play for Dave. We get a WWDMT. Matt and GGRACE continue to have contentious interactions. Bill brings the worst Quote Corner that anyone’s ever heard.

Shelly's lawyer is a mystery but we're not gonna worry about it. Life Coach Winegardner helps Zatt Mumbo navigate negotiations and spoonerisms. Shelly may be due for a shanking. Bill pitches some marketing slogans to Zumbo and it goes exactly how you would expect. Finally, the great Denzel Washington gets the WWTP treatment and it goes exactly how you would expect.

Fudging Shiva comes down visits the Numerology segment. The round mound of rebound gets cast for some reason. Rabbi Schmuel is invited to guest on the show. Roma returns and treads some familiar territory. One of our characters is vaguely, mysteriously, possibly Jewish or not. DM stops by to give his feelings on this week's minute. Finally, the fellas celebrate the memory of the great Ricky Jay.

The idiots get Aristotelian in their discourse and boy is that unnerving. The fellas wanna know, are you team #Scorpius or team #Butterfly? Our heroes discuss global pandemics. Bill wonders what’s WRONG with it? The Duke himself enters the welcoming embrace of the WWTP phenomenon. Bill is an expert volleyball player whose memories seemed to get spiked at the net. Matt is “put-off” by Bill’s sense of what makes a quality NBA 6th man. The boys play 6 degrees of David Mamet. Matt gives Bill Russel an unimpressive yet sincere tribute. Dave Moss gets the business from sister Dana. The Moss family absolutely loves their donuts. The original title of the film was “GlenDonuts, Glenn Moss.” Matt speculates that Dana has maybe had a checkered past. “Life Coach Bill” drops some more self-help garbage on us. The fellas speculate greatly about the Moss family lineage. Perhaps the most precise parallel ever is drawn between a GGGR character and NBA royalty. Dave gets to stay with Dana. In what can only be described as a terrible and perilous idea, the fellas invite the listeners into Matt’s home. Matt fools himself for just a moment that Dave might have liked this minute.

The fellas talk about one-and-done movies. Matt doesn’t like being asked if he would even consider doing something. Bill went to “Boy’s State” and played “army.” The fellas cannot seem to ever stop talking about Madonna. Bill fancies himself pragmatic. Everyone’s favorite crooner swings round to talk about semantics. Burt apparently got fired in “lieu” of a captain. The boys decide, no more “double quartets.” Old guys talk about 8-tracks. Matt tells Bill about “Mom’s Spaghetti.” Bill takes a stand on snuff films. The fellas cast Dicky van Patton. 8-balls and billiards get some chatter. The fellas offer a dueling Rainmen segment. There's some Dimwiddle/Dinwiddie confusion. The boys discuss alternative retributions for Spacey, who Matt was ready to love forever. The re-caps grow increasingly more cumbersome. Shelly meets Mr. TBD. Shocking that in the episode featuring Mr. TBD, the boys take the Rocky movies out for a walk. Bill brings a fun, poster based game, and an infinitely less-fun, cookie-based game. Then, obvi, WWDMT. GGRACE is becoming quite the loose cannon.

The fellas both want helium-neon lasers and scoff at the 10 commandments. Tithing is bananas. Matt runs down the 10 plagues and includes Bill as one. Matt has been asked if he was a Jew. The fellas cast Clint Howard. Matt has a gift for Bill, come this Christmas and Bill doesn’t want all those leaping lords. Can you smell what Snellen is sellin’? The boys think lacrosse is for the rich folks. Matt loved Mo Cheeks’ indifference to younger fans. George is struggling with how his future is unfolding. Bill likes a coffee oriented iPhone app. Matt hates when a counter person comments on his order, yet he does enjoy talking to baristas. George expresses some deep seeded struggles of his own to his barista. Matt takes offense to Bill calling his people “Pizza People.” Bill is cagey about one of the actors in this weeks minute. Bill brings a car-casting segment to please the masses. This carries over into the rest of the episode being about cars. Finally what would DM think? He’d hate it.

Matt has a seemingly unending supply of bones to pick and this one is with Bill’s gaslighting, choice in interns. Bill skirts an apology. Eleven had a rough upbringing. Numerology blows the minds of the fellas this week with some eye-popping, reverse magic. The fellas get a little salty this week. Bill has been charged with writing the Rocky III musical and Matt can’t wait. What if it were Mick and Murray. And speaking of corner men, Mike Tyson comes by?? Bill is a slave to the rhyme. Matt’s heart goes out to Mathias. Bill loves a wild duck cluster. Matt loves a bassoon IF it's portraying some kind of an animal. The fellas appoint themselves to the NFL Rules Committee. MacOS hot corners make Matt feel like Tom Cruise. Bill loves a Maple Leaf. Bill officially does the worst Jonny Carson impression currently known to man. Matt feels very defensive about the notion that Dave Moss is a slime ball. Dave is made to do one of the most grotesque things imaginable, to maintain his residence at Dana’s place. Dana has Dave by the short hairs. Matt tells a story of some odd podiatry surgery and then the boys tease a mini-sode that we’ve all already heard.

Season 1 #12 – It Takes 3 Stooges to Measure A Duodenum

This week’s episode starts with two stooges talking about the THREE stooges. GGRACE ain’t no good as a potential third stooge. 12 is a very applicable number to the people. Bill tells us all about the pain and perfection of “Paint Your Wagon.” Bill lives an an abundance of bubble wrap. Turns out Bill did say apples. 12 labors seem doable. Ethelred the Unready swings around to talk about how many jurors there should be. Matt exclusively loves the things he can put his whole mouth on. Bill doesn’t feel great about things that have been exposed to air. Matt lets us in on the secret to court-side interviews. Bill is on Matt’s last cranial nerve. The stooges come back to measure the duodenum. Bill loves 12 angry men. The fellas celebrate and then cast Lee Marvin. Matt gets very excited to cast a Mary McDonnell and to break down more gender barriers. Bill clownishly confuses his sir named celebs named “Michaels” and leads us to a very, very dark place. “Guy doesn’t know fun.” Matt is anti-cable news sources. On the 12th day of Christmas Matt officially hates the song. Troy, of “Troy ounce” fame, swings around. There's a new number one in the clubhouse and its #12! Blake is just being Blake. Matt notices the stark similarities between Williamson’s early remarks and Blake’s current verbiage. Williamson, like Bill, is deluded into thinking that people like him. Waving the leads under noses seems suddenly like more of a dictate. Matt finds it odd that Blake offers to clean out Williamson’s desk. One man’s derivative is another man’s “classic.”

Matt is concerned that his segment is getting lengthy. The boys happen upon a catch phrase for the new age. Bill jumps the gun on Judas’ jersey number. Matt deconstructs the Hammurabi and Swiss sandwich. Bill makes a toothpaste joke that can’t get put back into the tube. Matt likes a “Devil’s Dozen,” While Bill likes a “Long Dozen.” The boys decipher the PG-13 designation. The age of consent and American race relations are tiptoed around. Our heroes bravely and hilariously cast Antonio Banderas. Matt thinks Rugby guys are crummy and scrummy. Bill eschews his recap duties and the boys get into the minute. Rick finds Jim in aisle 13 this week. Ricky likes to “work the issue.” Bill is a targeted shopper while Matt likes to roam the landscape. Trader Joe's, Cosby Show guy gets a shout out. Matt gets “lured” into a discussion. Ricky is not a fan of the Goji. Bill is situationally persistent and he updates us on the Glengarry Glen Ross lady production. The boys speculate that a LuPone and maybe a Pidgeon might be involved. Finally, as always, Matt and Bill wonder and disagree about “What Would David Mamet Think.”

And then eventually it ends.

Chlorine makes the fellas extremely reactive. Guess where Area 17 is. Teenage sexual exploits can be creepy, but we’re not judging. There are lots of songs with the number 17, which are also creepy. Matt gets a new nickname. Blake is on the hunt for a new office manager. An update on a possible cast member for the Broadway GGGR ladies gets the fellas speculating. Get ready for “Hondo and Mr. Pink in the Morning” on your AM radio dial!

The fellas agree to meet at the 19th hole. The gents, while wondering if Billy Crystal does a “Lenny Wilkins” around he house, decide they need him in a corral. Matt wants to give Vern Lundquist the business in an elevator. The PDB jingle gets some more appreciation. Bill is a split-creative-personality. Ricky finds Jimmy playing hoops this week. Jimmy Lingk has a nice set of gams. Bill regales us with a story of drug-dealing ballers, with an emphasis on his own basketball prowess. Matt is not amused. Ricky has all the basketball parlance one man can stand. Matt explains what a BBQ chicken alert is. Matt Woo-Woos, while Bill Poo-Poos. Matt doesn’t know where Ricky ends and he begins. Ricky is certain that everyone would want to know where he is. Matt hints at a spoiler, or does he?

Season 1 #20 – Make Calcium Your Pal-cium

Bill’s Mom gets some much deserved appreciation. Bill knows he loves a Chunky bar without ever having to go through the trouble of actually eating one. Matt implores the listening audience to use the word “scores” when counting small groups of people. The fellas agree that 20 is a “nice number.” Rubik’s Cubes are a fond memory for our fellas. Troy refuses to help Bill, yet again. Matt rails against the food pyramid AGAIN. The fellas conceive of poorly flavored, calcium supplement lifesavers. Telethon-Bill gets some love. Matt displays the splendor of the mouth trumpet. Chess and Japan check in on their relation ship to the number 20. Pink Floyd once thought the age of majority was “Uncomfortably Young." Bill likes when groups of people agree on a thing. Bill fondly recalls servicing the lord. Matt is not a firm believer in “infinite potential.” Barry Sanders gets a howdy-doo. GGRACE compiles a few clips in the interest of recapping. Dana has an unconventional method of getting Dave to stop snoring. Turns out Dave is VERY concerned about his skin. Davie Moss is nothing if not a sausage stiffener. The fellas discuss sleeping in proximity of a snorer. Dave’s process is asking people questions about who or what they are? Dana wants Dave to stay. Bill comes with some housekeeping of some of his own messes. Bill gives Clyde Drexler his own university and shocks us all by admitting he attempted to watch an episodic TV series. The boys introduce a new and very calming segment featuring some astounding Guy-ku.

Season 1 #21 – Fun for a Girl and a Boy

Shillings and guineas lead to a visit from Glenister. Famous Lemons are discussed. A debate breaks out over the top 3 power forwards of all time. HJs get their own parody lyrics. We go deep into The Giraffe’s secret lair to learn more about Shelly’s latest dilemma. Peter Falk gets cast and someone profits from it. Bruce Willis gets cast and we wander back into the zen garden for some meditative Guyku.

This one begins with some provocative banter. Bill has brought food into the love making, and Matt suggests maybe a hoagie for your sexy-times. Wedderburn-Ethrington gets the praise they deserve. The birthday Paradox is bandied about as a possible script. Ethrington does a set with CSN. Vanadium has Bill scratching his head. Matt doesn’t care for a natural spring. Bill thinks Matt would appreciate Discordianism. Hagbard controlled the cold war from a computer. Apparently, the entirety of universe is based on the number 23. The “pact” bit gets flipped on its ear. Bill prefers a creamy birch. Matt would run into the open arms of Dick Dicky. Baylen and Malone are left with no other option but simply to spoon. Willie interrupts the proceedings. Malone and Ricky have the same issue with numeric misunderstandings. The fellas rejoice in fun to come. The oft overlooked, Richard Bradford gets some love. Matt chastises Bill for not availing himself of the VOD culture. Baylen accepts his fate. The fellas wrap it up with some quality Guy-ku.

The fellas have started to develop a real distaste for Stòrmer and his bullshit numbers. Bill and Matt want to return “metal” to the people. The fellas discuss other substances that might be “sputtered” in lieu of male ejaculate. Bill Loves the flux of it all, and Matt is just burning doing the neutron glance. The fellas reminisce about records. Lots of 45 stuff in music including “Atomic Bitch Wax.” Matt knows what song Bill is thinking of. Bill yodels, Matt likes guessing prices and encourages you to have your pets spayed or neutered. Matt rails against stoppage time… again. Matt and Bill disagree about the best way to exemplify the number 45 in curls. Oil-Can Zumbo gives himself a new moniker. No one believes that AC Green was a virgin.

Scene 2 of season 2 is a mess… of EMOTIONS. A Seinfeldian doctor breaks some bad news to James. Ricky’s fate hangs in the balance and Grace has no cylinders. Jimmy reveals his true feelings for Ricky. Matt makes an allusion to the parallels of Roma in a Coma and Regarding Henry. The fellas discuss the oat-waysis of a new trend in “milks.” Where is the best place to have small-pox as a 5 year old? Ricky coma-dreams a super annoying kid. Matt literally cant stop doing the Carlito-gurney, voice over thing, seriously... he's still doing it. Like right this second. I promise you. “Dis write-up got it’s curtain coming down… but what a write-up it's been...”
