It Makes You Move is a history of rock 'n' roll music, but only the music that actually gets us to move. Its creator, Sarah Blaxon, is a music super-fan who believes in the mood-elevating and stress-relieving powers of rhythm, music, and dance. IMYM covers the years 1927 to 2026, the first 100 years of the rock genre and all its subgenres, from City Blues to Grungegaze.
