<p>We're arriving once again in your podcast feed for a brief glimpse into the room at one of our recent events: &quot;The economics of pandemic preparedness: Trade-offs in peacetime and pandemics&quot;. This was an event co-organised and funded by the Imperial College London Abdul Latif Jameel Institute for Disease and Emergency Analytics, the Institute of Infection, and The Centre for Health Economics &amp; Policy Innovation. The day gathered experts across these institutions to sit down and discuss how we can better align health and economic needs for future pandemics.</p>
<p>You'll hear from Prof. Jonathan Haskel of the Bank of England, Prof. Susan Michie - the Director of the Centre for Behavioural Change, and Dr. Els Torreele of the UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose.</p>
