The Blue Jays won their series vs San Fransisco but despite the good vibes starting the Canada Day game with a pre-game Citizenship ceremony the Jays lost the series against Boston with a shut-out and then a one-run loss (and later, another one run loss on Sunday). Matt & Steve talk about the All-Star game player selection and the weird jerseys, and Steve recaps his experience at the Ottawa Titans 8-1 victory over Quebec Friday night. Matt would not have had a very good time that night, given his own recent experience with lineups.

The Blue Jays head into the All Star break on a much brighter note than their western road trip. The week started off in turmoil with the firing of Charlie Montoyo but other than a brief blip on Thursday against Kansas City the Jays put up a strong week.
