Every year, in the build-up to Easter, young people from the islands of Gothenburg's northern archipelago start collecting Christmas treas and hiding them, as part of an old tradition that lives strong on the islands.

Jacob Ahlberg grew up on the island of Björkö and brings us into the tradition that he was an active part of as a teenager: "bare in mind it was ten years ago since I last took part"

The highlight of the tradition, nicknamed "Grankriget", the Christmas tree war, is building a big bonfire on the Saturday before Easter.
