We get into the orientation challenge in loud spaces, why "go with someone else" is still the best tip, and the weird gap between asking for help at home versus asking on a trip across the country. Michael shares what it was like losing light perception between 13 and 16. Kolby talks about growing up afraid of getting lost and how O&M lessons shaped that. We also share what we each want out of this show, and tee up next episode: blind friends growing up, or in Michael's case, the lack of them.
