Captains Stelemar and Stelemar have been sent to the bottom of the sea and the upper atmosphere to research agricultural warfare options in the event of attack. Thousands of miles apart, they must grapple with their separation, the morals of working for a war-hungry government, and the fear of living in a confined space. Above & Below is a Sci-Fi Romance with elements of Horror. It deals with themes of isolation, romance, and looming fear. Think The Martian crossed with The Shape of Water with a more front-facing government influence.
