<description><![CDATA[<p>On this episode, we get sauced on a whole heard of Buffalo Trace with Andrew Spaugh, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/indomitablebeard/" rel="nofollow">@indomitablebeard</a>, and Andrea Bolt, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/drinkbourbon_wearlipstick/" rel="nofollow">@drinkbourbon_wearlipstick</a>, from Still 630. Andrew is an avid collector of different Buffalo Trace store picks (over 20 different variations) and we decided it was time to find out which store did the best job picking their single barrel. Along the way we look at all the different elements that go into creating an unique pick while still having that consistent Buffalo Trace taste. It was a daunting task, but we willingly sacrificed a few buffalo in the name of bourbon.</p>

It's been a while since we've done a full tasting of bourbon and we thought the samples sent to us by <a href="https://www.instagram.com/whiskeyblake.sparty/" rel="nofollow">@whiskeyblake.sparty</a> and <a href="https://www.instagram.com/all_about_bourbon/" rel="nofollow">@all<em>about</em>bourbon</a> offered the perfect opportunity to dust off our flavor wheel and test out our taste buds. We start by comparing standard Eagle Rare with an Eagle Rare store pick from WB Liquor down in Texas and find that while not all Eagles are the same, but they are all delicious. Next, we hit our sample array featuring Ancient Ancient Age 10 Start, Michter's 10 Year, Rebel Yell 10 Year, and Kentucky Owl Rye.
