We're back and we're mediocre than ever. Our first episode of 2021 covers how our country was almost burned to the ground by a bunch of idiots who failed civics and overshare on social media and then we discuss the possibility of aliens and how we're like 90% sure they are real and that they have chilled on Earth. Give us some feedback and let us know what we should chat about this year.

Leadership is tough under the best of circumstances, it can suck when things are hitting the fan. On this episode we're checking out a couple of leaders who distilled a lot of their experiences into a few lessons and an extremely unfortunate case where leadership traps got an experienced hiker into serious trouble on the Appalachian Trail and why the search teams missed the ball while trying to rescue her.

Episode Notes

WE ARE STILL ALIVE. It's been awhile, we've both been dealing with the nightmare that is COVID-19. We were apparently way off the mark in how bad this thing was gong to be. However, there will be light at the end of the tunnel and that's why today we're discussing resiliency and why some people are able to step up and deal with any crisis and why some people are crybabies who make it a couple weeks before storming their city hall with AR-15s, crappy web gear, moral patches, 5.11 pants, etc...because they can't get their haircuts. So listen in and learn some resiliency concepts and get educated.

Episode Notes

Oh boy, what a show. First, we walk back our lack of empathy from last episode after listening and realizing that perhaps the listener would think we don't care about those who are at risk of Covid-19. We do and would go so far as to state that anyone who is putting those people at risk should be subject to shaming and beating and that we really need to put all of our resources into protecting the most vulnerable. Seriously, most will be fine and we need to throw everything we've got to those who may not be. Mike shares perhaps the best poem ever written. Finally, we discuss landmines and Zack goes all in on landmines and is going to get a landmine tattoo in honor of this episode.

Episode Notes

Mike and Zack provide their mildly scientific analysis of the impending pandemic. We ponder things such as why people are freaked out, why everyone seems to be okay with old and sick people being the victims of flu and Covid-19, and whether we would want to know when we're dying by pushing a button. DO NOT TAKE MEDICAL ADVICE FROM US OR FROM MEMES. We're just two dudes trying to figure this thing out.
