The Jack Fords have played just about every club in Cleveland and shared stages with the likes of Michael Stanley, James Gang and Joe Bonamassa. But the band's biggest gig may be ahead of them. The Jack Fords will perform on Sunday, Aug. 26, at the InCuya Music Festival, one of the biggest music events to come to downtown Cleveland in over 20 years. The fest features headliners New Order, the Avett Brothers, Sza and several other national and regional acts. As a warm-up, The Jack Fords participated in the most unique episode of The Cleveland Sessions yet, performing on a pontoon boat as it drove around the Cuyahoga River.

The band features vocalist-keyboardist Chayla Hope, violinist Andrea Belding-Elson, guitarist Michael Flaherty, drummer Ryan Kelly, bassist Josh Riehl and violinist Megan Sullivan.

The Cleveland-based band Falling Stars performs a three-song set as part of “The Cleveland Sessions,” a concert video series brought to you by cleveland.com, in partnership with the Music Box Supper Club and oWOW internet radio.

The set includes performances of “Down and Out in Ohio,” “Another Wrong Way Out” and “The Lonely Keep in Touch,” all cuts from the band’s 2017 debut album, “Stranded in the Future.”

The album was recorded in North Carolina at Fidelitorium by Mitch Easter, and produced by Don Dixon, the duo behind R.E.M.’s early albums “Murmur” and “Reckoning.” The band features vocalist-guitarist Chris Allen, guitarist Tim Parnin, drummer Gerry Porter and bassist Dave Padrutt.
