Hey, just a quick announcement here. Don't worry, the show isn't ending or anything. There's nothing bad. And despite the fact that I hate when people apologize for their sound quality, especially when their sound quality is actually pretty good, sound quality is kind of the issue here because something on my computer went out, and I'm not exactly sure what it is. I'm hoping it's the motherboard, because I have a new one of those coming in right now. And then I'll get to rebuild the whole system. Yay. That'll be fun. Um, so please, um, I hope that this sound quality is good enough for everybody to hear. The next few weeks are going to be a little bit hectic. Right now, I am recording this on my rodecaster duo, which has been amazing. Kaylee is letting me borrow her computer for little things that I need. Mostly because, you know, I can still go on legends of s h I e l d. I just watch the content and show up for that show. So, you know, that that part's fine. I am not going to try to edit on her computer because that would be a giant pain, and that would have me stealing her computer way too much. And she's already being nice enough to let me use it as much as she is letting me use it. So I don't want to overstay my welcome there. I'm. And I'm very happy that she's letting me use it because it means I get to get this episode out to you, too, which will probably just disappear when I get my computer back. But I want people to know that this is what's going on. So here's the really quick version for anybody who cares. My computer. I was like, 98% of the way through editing an episode of Doc issues, looking at the man of Steel, an Xbox exclusive game, when it decided it was going to blue screen on me. And then it cycled through a bunch of different blue screens, and then it decided that it just wasn't going to boot up anymore. And at this point, I am thinking that the motherboard, either it went out on me, or that the memory or the bios on the motherboard got resethez. And I had to change the bios on here when I updated my cpu earlier. That's probably way more technical stuff than people need. But I don't want to take a chance on it just being the bios. Because changing the cpu's is a pain. And I don't want to put the old one back in just to find out that's not the issue. So yay. New motherboard coming in and a few other new things too. Because if I'm going to have the thing opened up, I might as well do a little bit of other things to it while I'm in there. So, like I said, next few weeks, as I record this, as I release this, Kaylee has a concert on Saturday. Usually doesn't affect my editing and recording and release schedule, but it's going to this time because Saturday my new parts show up early, start to show up, and I won't have while she's in the concerte because I go to her concerts on Saturday to put it together. I will have Sunday in theory, but we'll see what happens with that weekend after that is her brother's wedding. So I'm kind of obligated to be other places again. It's close enough and everything to where if my computer hadn't have busted, it wouldn't have been an issue. I just maybe would have gotten an episode out Monday instead of the Sunday that I had moved back to. It's so annoying. It's really, really annoying right now, but the show will be coming back. All of the release dates that you're seeing for things coming up are now currently wrong. And in fact, I'm going to go turn that off after I finish recording this. So all the release dates on the website are now currently gone. Because I have no idea what's going to be valid anymore. I'm probably going to keep things in the same order that they're in right now. We'll see about that. I have a few people that I've already had to tell them, hey, we're just going to have to not record and I'll let you know when I get back. You get top priority when I get back. And somehow I'll mix that in with other people that I had scheduled who didn't have their recording time messed up by my computer because they scheduled it far enough. In the future, I don't know. That's a giant juggling act that I'm gonna have to figure out. And yay, be happy that that's me and not you because I. I'm not looking forward to that at all. As you can tell. I'm really frustrated and I really hate this and, ugh, I hate all of this. Legends of S h I e l d is not going to be a problem. Like I said, I'm still going to be able to go on that. Kaylee's computer is actually fairly functional with everything, so ye for me being a giant tech nerd and kind of making her get something good and not just a cheapo Lenovo thinkpad or something. What else is there? What else is there? Oh yeah, this also isn't edited because like I said, I refuse to edit on her computer. While I'm kind of forced into this breakneck right now, I'm thinking of what are some little things I can do to change up the show? I'm thinking that since I have so many episodes recorded and I'm that far ahead on stuff, even if I'm not edited ahead of when things are released, I still know what's going to be coming out next. So maybe I can start announcing what that next episode is going to be at the end of the current one, which, in case you missed it earlier, the next episode after this one is going to be doc issues making a return visit to look at X Men I'm sorry to look at the man of Steel for Xbox. I listen to a lot of X Men podcasts today. They're just. They're on my brain. After that, I don't remember because I can't get to my notes because they are all trapped inside the computer. Q Zoolander scene if you don't understand that you're not old like me, it's fine. I'm also thinking maybe I can try to get some more creators from both the comic side and the game side to come on as guests, especially if they're tied to the franchise. So maybe an X Men writer or artist to come look at an X Men game, or, you know, same thing with Batman or somebody who worked on Spider man, shattered dimensions, Chris Baker I don't know. Something like that will work. I'm sure it can happen. If there's anything else that you think can change up with the show, be sure to let me know. And honestly, I think that is about it. I don't like recording knowing that I can't edit it. I don't like the fact that I'm kind of stuck here and that I have something like eight to ten episodes sitting there on the computer waiting for me. Also, just in case anything bad happened. Yay, backblaze. I'm not losing anything, at least data wise. Plus, I don't delete things off the rodecaster until the episode has been released. So just in case anything happens, it's there too, in a completely separate place from on the computer, which also has backblaze, which also has. I don't know, there's so many other things. I'm completely out of it right now. I'm still freaking out a little bit because, oh, I don't like this at all. But yeah, that's what's happening for the show. I, like I said, I don't know when I'm going to be back, but it is an issue of when will I have time to put this computer together? Because since it's the motherboard, I basically have to take everything apart in the old one, put it back together in the new one. Yeah, it's gonna be fun. So until then, grab a game, grab a stack of comics, go find yourself a new favorite character. Hopefully one that helps keep you sane because that is gonna be what I need right now. I forgot to make my phone stop making noise. Nintendo. Don't copyright strike me especially cause that's a sonic noise and that's not your property. And yeah, also, like, I'm throwing this at the end on purpose. If you want to throw money at me to, like, help offset the cost of this new equipment I have to get, that would be cool. Obviously it's fine if you don't. You're not going to make me feel bad or anything. I honestly feel a little bit bad even asking about it. But I know there's gonna be at least one person who wants to and just want to let them know there is a link on the website in the support page, which is in every symbol.
