And when she walks in, she sees the slime banana and just starts investigating it, poking it, checking the viscosity of it and tasting it and trying to figure out what the hell she just witnessed. Because even back in her lecture, her main argument was, time machines are impossible. It's just physically impossible to ever achieve time machines no matter what technology you have. So she's kind of the naysayer and what's going on. They have a big bit of back and forth, a bit of talking and really just exposition. Daru continues to be a pervert. Akarine calls her christina for the first time, which ends up being her nickname. Throw the rest of the series, and it's a lot easier to remember than Mckeecey. So christina and ocarina invites her to join the future Gadgets team because she's already seen too much and they can't kill her again. So it's at that moment that the microwave kind of freaked out and did this once before, so they're trying to do that again. Again. And as he's just making small talk, she's talking about like, oh, hey, I ever heard you guys talking about CERN? He's like, what, you're spotting us? Like, no, I'm just right downstairs below you guys, and the walls are pretty thin. You are so loud, you're screaming all the time. It's kind of impossible not to hear you. So he's talking about like, oh, yeah, we were looking into CERN, and she's like, oh, about the Large hadron collider. She's like, Why, do you know? Once again, he forgets that she just said she could hear him, but she's kind of hinting at stuff that she wouldn't normally know. And she's kind of talking about the ibm 5100. She has a bit of information about that. And then when he gets a text, he gets a text and he's like, oh, man, bad news. And she's like, oh, daily death count. What? Nothing. It's from a video game. What? Don't worry about it. And so after he talked to her, she mentioned she also knows about John teeter and the ibm 5100 and how it's critical. John teeter said how it's critical to his time travel methods. And when October hears that, he runs upstairs and goes back on the forums that John Tier was on and starts talking to everyone. And this is when we kind of get a voiceover from John Tier himself talking about the verging timelines. And that time isn't just a river like everyone imagines. It's actually just splits apart into this crazy fractal spider web and that everybody baramy. I don't get that reference. Still, all the divergent timelines split off. So there'll be like, when one critical event happens, there will be a timeline where it did happen and timeline where it didn't happen, and it just spreads and spreads, and then people's memories will be rewritten to work in that timeline. So kind of saying, like, hey, if people aren't remembering stuff, it might be because it's a different timeline now and their memories were rewritten. And that's when akron kind of points out, like, hey, weren't you talking about this back in 2010? Points out again, like, hey, I never went back to the year 2000, but if you're saying you remember me there, it might be because of a diverging timeline. And if that's the case, I would really like to get in contact with you. And he gives them his own personal email address for Ocarn to talk to him. So now he's got a direct line to his pseudo hero or just information source. Some guy, some weird guy pretending to be another guy, another potentially crazy guy. Yeah, mayor shows up and she got snacks for the group. And this is just kind of I don't know, it's like a kind of calmer scene. It's not like a recap but it's kind of just like a break from all the hustle and bustle of time travel and CERN and sine waves and all that and thrown waves, and she gets everyone's snacks. So it's just her and ocarina on top of the roof just having some stew and train back and forth whichever meats they prefer and trying to negotiate which ones they want. And then while they're up there, we hear Daru scream, like, excited from downstairs. And when they run down, he's already hacked into CERN within a day of them talking about doing this easy peace. And then all of a sudden, lots of disappearing are like, oh, that must mean because it succeeded. Because if it failed, they would just report it and try and work on it more. But if it succeeded, then they want to claim down all the information so it doesn't get out and other people can do it. And then the last email they find is that one of the results or one of the reports say the results of a human died. So someone died during the Z program at CERN, which is supposed to be a very, like, physics based, like, public science stuff, like Office. So, like, there's no reason anyone should have died during any of their experiments. They should not be testing anything close to human experiments. So it's kind of like, what the hell is CERN doing? So I don't know if his character gets better, but it gets less perverted, which is nice, but, yeah, the characters driving it forward, I think they definitely had with a visual novel, it's a game, so it's like the story takes place over 20 hours, roughly. So, like, they had plenty of time to work with this. And I think they were kind of like, oh, this is already a popular, established franchise. Let's green light it immediately for 26 episodes or so. So they're kind of like, oh, we got to fill that time. And visual novel is just story. It's just dialogue. It's just people talking back and forth and, like, not always a lot of stuff happens, so not a lot of stuff happens when it's translated into an anime. So it's kind of like it's like Death Note, where the main action is, like texting on a phone, and that's the big action sequence. It's in texting someone or using a microwave. So there's not a lot of visual stuff that's happening where it's like, oh, yeah, I got to see this. Not really.
